CardScan uses AI to read any business card photo and extract every contact detail in seconds — no typing, no apps, no hassle.
The idea for CardScan simply arose from receiving loads of business cards at events and seminars. Great contacts, but I found I was putting of the work of going through the cards and LinkedIn contacts and send that all important initial greeting.
My first solution was a Franken-app using a combination of Apple Shortcuts and server side scripts. Sharing this with others just wasn’t easy or elegant.
So .. CardScan.
I get a business card (or screenshot LinkedIn contact information), upload it, and in seconds I have the details ready to put in my phone and CRM, quickly followed by friendly follow-up email.

How it works
1. Save and follow up — download a VCF contact file to add the person directly to your phone or address book, or send a follow-up email straight from the scan page using your saved email template.
2. Upload a photo — take a picture of any business card with your phone or camera, or upload an existing JPG, PNG, or WEBP image from your device.
3. AI reads the card — our AI analyses the image and extracts the name, job title, company, email address, phone number, website, and postal address.
