Automation and Integration to Streamline Your Business

Work Smarter, Not Harder with automation and integration.

Running a business means juggling multiple tools—email, customer databases, invoicing, e-commerce, scheduling, and more. But too often, these systems don’t work well together, leaving you stuck manually transferring data, fixing errors, or dealing with frustrating inefficiencies. That’s where automation and integration come in. The right setup can save time, reduce errors, and streamline your workflow, so you can focus on what really matters—your business.

At Nörtti paikalle, I help small businesses and entrepreneurs connect their systems so they work seamlessly together. Whether it’s integrating your website, email marketing, payment processing, or scheduling tools, I ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. No unnecessary complexity—just practical, reliable IT solutions tailored to your needs.

What Can Automation and Integration do for me?

Business Tools

Your business likely relies on many different platforms. A coaching platform, payment portal, office tools and spreadsheets, team collaborations .. and more. Instead of handling everything manually with copy-paste, export-map-import, or even typing — I help you link these systems together so that they share data efficiently and automatically. For example:

  • Connecting your coaching platform and payment provider to give your customers a smooth checkout experience.
  • Having up to date financial information by automatically adding sales data to Google Sheets.

For example:

automation and integration

Once the services have been configured to work together, it’s literally this simple.

As you create the automations, you will be prompted to allow the integration platform secure access to your services. One this is done, the integration platform basically plumbs the services together allowing data to flow smoothly from one place to the other. It’s not 100% magic, so you will still be expected to map the fields from the source service to the destination.

Email and marketing

Email marketing is a powerful tool. We can set up:

  • Follow-up emails after a purchase or booking.
  • Newsletters triggered by customer actions.
  • Email sequences for onboarding new clients.

Automations coupled with AI could scan your email inbox for certain keywords, and draft a reply for you. A lead could be asking about services you offer. The automation would pick up on this, draft a reply, and attach the appropriate file showcasing your portfolio. You check the draft and press send.

Give me an example of using automation and integration.

Here’s a concrete example of using automation and integration.

You have a website with forms embedded in it, and want to make sure that when folks ask you to contact them. It’s important to have a way to keep track of who has been contacted, and what the outcome was.

The forms on my website are embedded from Sender*. When form is filled in and submitted, Sender kindly sends me an email to let me know that someone is waiting for me to get in touch with them. Submitting the form adds the user to the list of folks who are wanting to have some form of contact with me. Zapier* listen for this, and adds some of the details to card on a Kanban board which functions like a sales pipeline.

Using a combination of an automation platform, like Zapier*, a spreadsheet (Google*, Zapier, you pick), there can be a table which has the date of the last closed support case. A daily Zap can be created to check for those dates which are older than 6 months. When one is found, a friendly email can be sent to check in with the customer and see how things are there. This has benefit that the email can customised to say something like;

Hi Sarah,

It was great to provide you with flowers for the birthday party back in May.

If ever you would need a personalised bouquet for a family event, we’d love to make the day special..

This is great, because your business is able send a personalised timely message to previous customer. The idea is that this helps to maintain an on-going relationship with a customer.

An automation platform keeps an eye on some of your routine business tasks, and lets you focus on making amazing flower bouquets. Or cakes. Or computers. Or VAT returns. What ever you are passionate about!

All this is basically a DIY CRM with personal twists.
